At the top of the screen is the **top utility zone**. It displays the terminal name, connected exchange, market type, version number and date, and the name of the current terminal instance. This data allows you to quickly confirm which exchange and market the terminal is connected to and verify the current software version. - Tick chart for precise entry. If you trade on short timeframes, enable the tick chart and add volume to it: this will show you the levels where market participants are genuinely active.
- A candlestick chart with different timeframes, which provides combined information: a tick chart on shorter timeframes and a candlestick chart on longer timeframes to understand the overall picture of historical price movements.
- Trading from the chart. Use the drawing tools and set orders at specific levels: this helps you stick to your strategy’s rules and avoid making impulsive decisions.
- Monitoring logs. Check the logs window regularly, especially when launching new strategies or after terminal updates – this way, you’ll spot warnings and errors in good time.

1. **Launch and check**. Open Moonbot in administrator mode, check the top service area (exchange, version, instance) and the bottom panel (connection status).
