# Steps to Start Trading

To start trading in the Moonbot terminal, follow these steps:

1. **Launch the terminal**\
   Open the **MoonBot.exe** file in administrator mode and wait until the terminal is fully loaded.
2. **Check the operating mode**\
   Make sure that the green **Start** button is active on the main window (in operating mode you will see the red **Stop** button).
3. **If you trade manually:**
   1. select the charts of the required coins;
   2. set the appropriate scale;
   3. place Buy orders and, if necessary, set Stop Loss and Trailing;
   4. after placing Buy orders in the order book, you can **move** or **cancel** them at any time.
4. **If you use auto-trading (strategies):**
   1. click the **Strategies** button on the main terminal window;
   2. enable the checkboxes next to the required strategies;
   3. click the **Start Checked** button to activate the selected strategies.
5. **If you use auto-trading based on signals from Telegram** – activate the corresponding Telegram strategies in the same way (through the **Strategies** window).
6. Make sure that auto-trading modes are enabled:
   1. the **Autodetect: ON** button (activates detections from strategies);
   2. the **Mode: Signals** button (allows strategies to place Buy orders).
