Advanced Strategy Parameters

The Alerts strategy is designed for alerts placed on graphical elements drawn on a coin’s chart.

General Parameters

• AlertByTrades: checkbox YES/NO.
  If set to YES, the strategy will trigger based on trades.
  If set to NO, the strategy will trigger based on the average price.
  
  After placing a graphical element with an alert on a coin’s chart, when that alert is triggered, it will not only produce a sound notification and highlight the Detects button. Now it is also possible, upon alert triggering, to automatically launch the selected Alerts strategy, which can:

• play its own sound alert;

• send a message to Telegram;

• open the chart of the coin in a chart window;

• give a trigger to launch another strategy;

• place an order (limit or delayed);

• buy the coin at market
  and perform anything else the strategy supports, including working with filters.

For example, you can draw a trendline, place an alert on it, and when the price or trades cross this line, the attached Alerts strategy will trigger and perform the required action.

Or you can place alerts deep in the order book without using delayed or emulator orders, and wait for the price to reach more favorable levels, or wait for a deep spike with AlertByTrades = YES (triggering by “trade cross” — more sensitive, suitable for placing an order on a sharp dip).

Alerts with activation of an Alerts strategy can be assigned to drawing elements via Menu → Alerts in the Alerts window.
