Strategy Folder Area

On the left side of the Strategies window, there is the Strategy Folder Zone, which displays folders and strategies. By default, the terminal always contains the root Root folder. You can add individual strategies to it, as well as create new nested folders to group them by various criteria: by strategy type, by long or short operation, by interaction with each other via triggers (Master and Slave strategies), and so on.

In addition, you can quickly activate all strategies within a folder by checking the box to the left of it and clicking the Start Checked button. You can also launch all strategies from a folder using a Telegram command, addressing the folder as a whole rather than each individual strategy inside it — all strategies within the folder will be started simultaneously.

If you right-click any folder (for example, Root), a context menu will appear with the available actions:

  • New Folder
Creates a new folder. By default, it will be named, for example, New Folder 0 [0/0], where:

    • the first number is the sequential number of the new folder

    • the second number is the number of active strategies in it

    • the third number is the total number of strategies in this folder.
These values may change. For example, if you create 4 strategies in this folder and activate one of them (check the box and click Start checked), the numbers next to the folder name will look like this: New Folder 0 [1/4], where:

      • 0 — the sequential number of the new folder

      • 1 — the number of active strategies, meaning only one strategy has a checkbox enabled and shows the “enabled light” icon

      • 4 — the total number of strategies in this folder.

  • Rename Folder
When you click this item, the selected folder name will enter edit mode and be highlighted. You can immediately delete the current name and enter a new one, for example, replace New Folder 0 with MOONSHOT if this folder contains MoonShot-type strategies.
You can also rename a folder by double-clicking its name with the left mouse button. After creating or editing a folder, you must click the Save button for the terminal to update the folder registry.

  • Delete Folder
Clicking this item allows you to delete the folder entirely, whether it is empty or contains strategies. If a “closed lock” icon is shown next to the Delete Folder option and it is inactive, you must first click the “closed lock” icon on the Delete button on the right side of the Strategies window. After that, the button will become active, an “open lock” icon will appear next to Delete Folder in the folder menu, and the option will become available for use.

If a folder contains inactive strategies or strategies without checkboxes enabled, attempting to delete the folder will display a warning:
“The following folders with strategies will be deleted: MOONSHOT. Continue?” — where, in this example, MOONSHOT is the name of the folder you plan to delete. Confirm or cancel the action by selecting Yes or No.

If the folder contains strategies that are active or have checkboxes enabled, attempting to delete such a folder will cause the terminal to display the following warning:
“The folders selected for deletion contain running strategies. Please uncheck and stop them before deleting!”
In this case, you must uncheck all strategies inside the folder being deleted, then click the Start Сhecked button to deactivate all of them (the “enabled light” icon next to them will disappear), and only after that repeat the deletion procedure.

⚠️ Attention! Folders and strategies deleted from the terminal cannot be restored, so it is recommended to create a special folder named TRASH and temporarily move into it any folders and strategies you plan to delete later. It is possible that after some time they may be needed again for testing or analyzing trading ideas. If these strategies truly turn out to be unnecessary, you can permanently delete them from the TRASH folder, for example, after 30 days.

  • Show strategy numbers
This option applies sequential numbering to all strategies from top to bottom, regardless of folder structure. Each strategy will display a number to the right of its name, such as:
    #1 MOONSHOT (MoonShot)
    #2 DROPS (DropsDetection)
When a new strategy is created, it automatically gets the next unused number.
If a strategy is deleted (e.g., from the middle of the list), all strategies are renumbered top-down with no gaps.
If strategies are not deleted, their numbers remain unchanged even when moved between folders or within the list — no renumbering occurs.

  • Move To
his option allows moving a selected strategy or folder to another folder, starting from Root and down the folder tree. If multiple strategies or folders are selected, only the first selected item will move.
    To move multiple items:

    • CTRL + Left Click — to select strategies one by one

    • SHIFT + Click — to select a range from the first to the last

    • After selecting, hold CTRL or SHIFT and drag the selected items into the desired folder.
