# Recommended learning level progression (from simple to complex)

**🟢 1. Basic level (absolute beginners)**

**Goal:** understand how the market works and avoid harming yourself\
**Main focus:** understanding and safety

- What the market, price, volume, and timeframes are
- Types of charts and basic candlestick elements
- Long, short, spot, futures — at the conceptual level
- Simple support and resistance levels
- Basic risk management rules
- Trading on a demo account.

**🟡 2. Entry-level practical stage (beginning traders)**

**Goal:** learn to make the first conscious trading decisions\
**Main focus:** discipline and repeatability

- Simple trading strategies (trend-following, bounces from levels)
- Stop-loss and take-profit as mandatory elements of a trade
- Basic indicators (MA, RSI) and their practical application
- Understanding market types: trending and sideways
- Keeping a trade journal and initial self-analysis.

**🟠 3. Advanced level (intermediate traders)**

**Goal:** increase trading stability and adaptability\
**Main focus:** decision quality and risk control

- Combining tools (levels + indicators + volume)
- Working with multiple timeframes
- Countertrend strategies and mean reversion
- Understanding market psychology and cognitive biases
- In-depth analysis of mistakes and drawdowns.

🔴 Advanced / professional level (experienced traders)

**Goal:** optimization, scaling, and specialization\
**Main focus:** efficiency and systematization

- Algorithmic trading and automation
- Arbitrage strategies and working with APIs
- Optimization of fees, slippage, and infrastructure
- Portfolio management and asset correlation
- Development and testing of proprietary trading systems.

The trader’s path is a marathon, not a sprint. Spend time on building a solid foundational education before risking significant capital. Investing in knowledge is the most profitable investment you can make in your trading career.
